Support for drag and drop from Zip files to MacroView DMF

When trying to drag and drop .msg files from a zipped folder to MacroView and file them as emails, the subject line does not match with what is on the individual emails under certain circumstances.

Drag and Drop – Zipped Folder

In this recording you will see that when we drag and drop the files from within a zipped folder, the subject line is taken from the highlighted email in outlook and when we close outlook they are saved with the right names.

MacroView Setting – Zipped Folder

When turning off the setting ‘Reuse email properties to apply to attachments’ the subject line of the emails match.

Please can support for drag and drop from Zip files to MacroView DMF be added as a feature.

  Improved support for Drag and Drop from ZIP files has been added in the latest release of MacroView DMS 9.4!
