MacroView Search Bars - How do they work?
AnsweredHello
The MacroView users at our organization have had multiple questions about Search. I realize that we are able to configure the Search View/Tab (I.e., Browse, Favorites, Search Views); however I'm wondering if there's any documentation on how the search bars within the Browse/Favourites views work.
For example:
What is the 'Find Files' search bar searching inside the Browse and Favourites View? Is it searching all of the content within the document set you're viewing? or just the document titles?
Also,
If I search within the Browse Tree, this will bring up any document set that matches. However, this is only searching the title, not the content - correct?
Any additional training or tips/tricks regarding search would be great as well!
Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Shelby,
Thank you for your post.
Yes we do have documentation on how the search functions work. Please see the following:

In addition to the above documentation we also have a DMF User manual which can be found on our downloads page.
Kind Regards,
