Change Hide Folder Behaviour
I like to work in a matter without creating folders, but sometimes I am in shared matters where others have created folders. I would like the option to turn off folders in my views across all matters, rather than have to click the hide folders button every time I go into a matter.
If the above isn't possible, I'd like the option of having the folders show up at the end of the list, instead of the start. It is particularly annoying when someone has created so many folders in a matter that the entire file/folder pane is folders, and you have to scroll down to find emails in order to drag and drop an email from Outlook to MV without accidentally placing that email in a folder. If these folders were at the bottom of the list in my view, I wouldn't have to fuss with turning off folders, since they would be at the end of the list, and thus out of view. There is a "display folders and document sets before files" option in options>appearance, which I have left unchecked, presuming that this would put the folders at the end of the list, but this doesn't appear to work in this way.

You can control the display of folders in the file list using the below setting under DMS Options and for the behavior you are after I would suggest setting it to 'never'

Spoke too soon. Changing that setting resulted in not being able to see any document sets inside a library. I had to revert. I only want to suppress folders inside a document set.
