User get "Macroview was unable to open the file..." when opening a document.

We have a user that opens documents from within MacroView, the documents open, but then the user gets an error message "Macroview was unable to open the file ....".
The users workstation profile has been recreated, but they stil get the same error.
What could be causing this issue? What can we do to correct it?
