SharePoint sites by default include a number of libraries that are not related to document management. These 'furniture' nodes along with any other libraries you want ignored can be hidden from the tree view in MacroView DMS and DMS Pro by specifying these libraries in a central configuration file.
- Download and edit the TreeNodesToHide.xml file stored in your central configuration location.
- Add any additional libraries you want hidden in the tree view.
- Upload the new version of the TreeNodesToHide.xml file and restart Outlook.
You can download a sample TreeNodestoHide.xml file from here
Applies to DMS and DMS Pro 8.5.1097 or later.
From DMS and DMS Pro 9.7.39 the UI can be used to hide libraries when you have a central configuration location is set. If there is no location set, the libraries to ignore option will be greyed out.
