In MacroView 8.8.24 or later, new settings have been introduced to limit prompting for required metadata when saving emails and files.
MacroView DMF and Message can be configured to only show the properties dialog if there are required properties when saving documents and emails. These settings are located under Options in both MacroView DMF and Outlook.
To configure this setting for saving files
- Go to Options -> General,
- Find the dropdown When saving a Document, prompt for and select the appropriate option from the list.
- Click Apply and OK.
To configure this setting for saving emails
- Go to Options -> Office,
- Find the dropdown When saving a Email, prompt for and select the appropriate option from the list.
- Click Apply and OK.

NOTE: In MacroView 8.8.16 or earlier, 2 similar settings are available as:
"Only show properties dialog if there are required properties when saving documents" AND
"Only show properties dialog if there are required properties when saving emails"
NOTE: In MacroView 8.6.82 or earlier, 2 similar settings are available as:
"Prompt for optional properties when saving files" - located under Options -> General AND
"Prompt for optional properties when saving emails." - located under Options -> Office
These settings have been deprecated in DMF / Message 8.8.24 or later and are no longer in use.
