When the Office Document option is enabled on the 'New' button on the file list tool bar in MacroView DMS the document and email templates located in the Templates folder in the Resource library are displayed as a flyout menu. Selecting one of these templates will create a new document based on the template and immediately save it to the current location.
How to configure
To add, edit or remove templates, simply save the template documents to the Templates folder in the Resource library, including any sub folder structure which will be represented as sub menu items.
To change the behavior of documents initiated using the New > Office Document menu option, you can edit the following file:
Function: Office Document
Configuration filename: configuration.xml
Resource library location: Extensions/CreateNewDocument
