Limit the number of files that can be moved, copied or uploaded in bulk operations

MacroView DMF and MacroView Message support drag and dropping large number of files to upload, copy or move them however the more file that are selected the more resources that are required.  This means processing large numbers of file it may take some time to complete the operation before the user can continue working in Outlook or DMF Explorer.

The maximum number of files that can be moved or copied or uploaded in a single (bulk) operation can be set under DMF Options.

If the user attempts to move more than the number set a warning is displayed. 

The user will either be prevented from continuing, or be warned that the operation may take some time to complete depending on whether or not the Block upload if maximum file count is exceeded option is checked or unchecked.

Setting the Maximum File Count 0 with mean there is no limit applied and all selected files will be processed. 

tip.png Tip: If you are using MacroView DMF, when drag and dropping a large number of emails from Outlook, Open DMF Explorer and drag the emails to the file list or tree view in DMF Explorer.  This may still take a while to initialize the process but then you can then continue working in Outlook while the files are processed by DMF Explorer in the background.
