MacroView DMS and DMS Pro are packed with features that can be enabled, disabled and configured to give you the optimal experience when working with your documents and emails stored in SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
Most of the settings can be changed from the MacroView DMS Options dialog (shown below) but there are also a number of hidden settings that are not usually changed by users. These 'hidden' settings have default values and can only be changed by updating the current user's registry settings. Where changes are required to these settings they are usually made by an administrator or rolled out with Group Policy. If your administrator has locked down any of the settings using Group Policy, the option will appear greyed out and you will not be able to change it.
You can access the MacroView DMS options dialog from the Macroview tab or group on the ribbon in Outlook, by right clicking the MacroView DMS local service in the system tray, or from the File tab in MacroView DMS Explorer. You can also access the Options dialog in Windows by clicking on the Start button and searching for MacroView DMS Setup.
