Show warning when information level logging is enabled
Information level logging which is set under Options > Support is used to troubleshoot issues by recording additional information for each action taken in MacroView DMF. This is very useful for troubleshooting but has an impact on overall performance due to the amount of information being written to the trace files. Enabling this setting will result in a system tray warning message being displayed if you start MacroView DMF and have Information Level logging enabled.
Prompt for version comments on initial save
Prompt the user to provide version comments when saving a new document.

Use virtualization to display the sub-tree for a node being expanded. This can improve performance in some environments. This option MUST be enabled if you are running MacroView DMF on a computer that uses an ARM processor.
Use file name as display text when inserting attachments as hyperlinks
Use the file name rather than the URL as the display text for hyperlinks when using Insert As, Link.
Use original name as display text when inserting attachments
Use Original Filename (if available) as the display text rather than the filename when retrieving a document from SharePoint and inserting it as an attachment when the filename has been stripped of illegal characters.
Include Document ID in file display name when inserting attachments as links
Include the Document ID in the display name for the file when inserting attachments as links.
Use SharePoint Document ID redirect when inserting links
Hyperlinks created by using Insert As, Link and Insert Attachment as Link will be a link to the DocID Redirection Page (DocIdRedir.aspx) with the unique Document ID as a parameter. These links will still work even after the document has been moved from where it was originally saved.
Use protocol handler for links
Hyperlinks created by using Insert As, Link and Insert Attachment as Link will have a dmf: prefix. This will trigger the DMF Protocol Handler, so that clicking the hyperlink causes the same actions as opening the location or file from MacroView DMF.
Use Windows Shell to open Office Documents

Use XPS viewer for email previews
Previews of all file types are handled by the XPS facility of .Net. (note: XPS does not support the previewing of certain types of emails). When not set MacroView DMF will use Aspose to display the preview of emails stored in SharePoint. (note: Aspose generated previews do not allow printing, searching or zooming).
