When Teams sites are viewed in DMF, the channels are displayed in the DMF tree view as folders within a document library but in Teams the document library does not appear only the channels. If users save files in the document library when using DMF they will not be able to see them in Teams. The files will only be visible in Teams by clicking on the channel and selecting the files tab if the files are saved in the corresponding folder in DMF. This setting is useful to prevent confusion amongst users who use both DMF and Teams for document management.
