You can use DMS Next to navigate SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive to find files to work with and share, or locations save to.

You can navigate using the following features: 

• Tree view
• Search
• Navigate to URL

Tree view

The tree view provides a top-down view of the SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive locations the logged in account has permission to access, as well as recents, favourites and attachments shared in Microsoft Teams chats.

The tree's structure reflects the organisation of sites, teams, libraries, folders and document sets configured in your SharePoint Online tenant and OneDrive account.

Search

DMS Next also gives you the ability to search for files or locations across all locations in the app, using:

• Search bar
• Search this location
• Find a location

Navigate to URL

If you have the URL for the location you want to access, you can go there directly using the Navigate to URL function.

This saves you from navigating through the tree to find the location if you already have a link to it, for example, if a URL to a document library or folder was shared with you in an email or Teams chat.

To use Navigate to URL:

• Right-click any location in the tree-view, and select Navigate to URL.
  
• Enter the URL to go to, then select OK.
  
• DMS Next will then expand the tree and load the selected location.
