Navigating in DMS Next can be done in various ways. The most common and easy to use features are sorting and filtering.
Sort
Columns
In any file list, a column can be used to sort its contents.
Clicking on the name of a column will cause entries to be sorted in order of that column, toggling between ascending and descending order
Recents
Clicking on the column headings Name, Last Used, Site and Library and numeric columns in the file list, sorts the recent file entries by that column. The sort order toggles between descending and ascending order. This provides a way to see your recent activity on a particular site or library.
Favourites
Frequently used locations can also be sorted.
Search results
From each search type you can choose a sort ordering for your Search Results. When search results are being displayed in the window, the sort order can be changed by selecting the order by selecting the column toggling between ascending and descending order.
