Configured correctly, MacroView Mail allows you to save emails to SharePoint Online (Office 365), OneDrive for Business or Microsoft Teams in as little as three clicks.
- Click once to open MacroView Mail
- Click on a recent, favorite or subscription location
- Click Finish to save the email
If the email you are saving has any attachments you will also be prompted to confirm which of the email and/or its attachments are to be saved.
To minimize the steps required to save an email set the following under settings:
- Un-check Show welcome screen
- Check Automatically close when uploading
If you want to have the email automatically move to a folder in Outlook once it has been saved, check Move email to folder after saving.
Saving an email with even less clicks
If your organisation has a Corporate License for MacroView Mail you can configure MacroView Corporate Email Filing rules under settings so that the save location is automatically selected by default for emails matching a rule.
When an email matches a rule, its save location is selected automatically and MacroView Mail takes the user directly to the Properties pane so emails can be save with a single click.
If you want to save the email to a different location you can page back from the properties page and select an alternate location.
