Current Status - Active
In the unlikely event a licensing service interruption occurs (i.e. the status above is not 'Active') it may result in users of MacroView products accessing SharePoint Online either receiving license warning messages or not being able to obtain a new license.
What to expect if the service is unavailable
When the MacroView license service is unavailable, if MacroView software attempt to refresh its license, or tries to obtain a license for an newly registered SharePoint Online tenant, no license file will be returned.
For new server registrations this will result in an 'Unknown' server status and the SharePoint Online tenant will not be accessible.
For users with an existing valid license, when your MacroView software requests a fresh license, no new license will be returned but functionality will continue as usual. The user may however receive some license warning messages.
What can you do prevent a refresh of your license?
To avoid users encountering license warnings when this service in unavailable we suggest you avoid the following actions if possible until this service has been resolved.
- Registering any new SharePoint Online tenant
- Accessing or modifying existing server registrations in Options>Servers
- Manually refreshing their license from the Options>Support dialog
- Clearing the license folder in the Store folder under the user profile.
