MacroView DMS only display the common libraries and folders from SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive. This is generally sufficient for most organisations. If you have implemented custom library list templates with a different ID then it will not be visible via the MacroView tree-view.
In order to view custom library list templates a ListsBaseTemplates entry will need to be added to the MacroView registry branch. All MacroView registry keys are located in the HKEY Current User branch which means that a general user could make changes to it. MacroView recommends that only an administrator makes changes to the Windows registry.
By default, ListsBaseTemplates registry key is not visible and thus will need to created. To add a key you will need to right click on the 'blank space' area and select New > String Value > ListsBaseTemplates. Note: The syntax is case and space sensitive.
There is a list of ID's which can be used to show entries accordingly. Below are some examples of numbers and their functionality:
ID | Name | Description |
100 | GenericList | Custom list |
101 | DocumentLibrary | Document library |
109 | PictureLibrary | Picture library |
700 | MySiteDocumentLibrary | MySite Document library |
851 | AssetLibrary | Asset library |
Link attached with all relevant list ID's that can be used to enter in Value data section:
If the values are added based on your requirement, the SharePoint tree will only expand to that level only and override the current view shown in the tree.
As example below when adding 100 to value data, Tree view will only show SharePoint sites along with lists as the next nested level and wont display libraries or folders.
The tree view when 100 is applied to the ListsBaseTemplates
2nd scenario when adding 101 with 100, result below will show lists along with libraries:
