Run Filing Rules button does nothing

Known Issue

The Email Filing Rules button on the ribbon in Outlook does not display the Email Filing Rules dialog.

This can occur if the users personal email filing rules in the registry have become corrupt.

Workaround

Close Outlook and the DMF local services and the clear the following registry keys before restarting Outlook.

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MacroView\DMF\UserOptions\IncomingRules
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MacroView\DMF\UserOptions\SaveOnSendRules
