If you like the benefits or emails being tagged so that they can be quickly and easily be filed but would like control over which emails in a conversation thread are saved and which are not, you can achieve this by simply turning off mailbox monitoring for the required account.
The mailbox monitoring options in MacroView DMS allow you to specify which Inbox and Sent Item folders are monitored. When they are monitored email filing rules are triggered automatically as mail items are added to these Outlook folders and when they are not monitored email filing rules are not triggered.
However, turning off mailbox monitoring does prevent the email filing rules being run manually using the Run Filing Rules function.
This can be particularly useful when you are using MacroView Managed Filing rules to tag and save emails but do not what every reply in the conversation thread saved, so you don't clutter your SharePoint libraries with simple "OK" or "Thanks" emails.
