To evaluate the automatic email filing solution, Managed Filing (MF), the following is required:
- MacroView DMS / DMS Pro evaluation installed
- Suitable SharePoint environment
For automatic email filing to work well, we are looking for a unique code(s) to be used as the email tag in the Subject e.g. Client Code, Project Number, Sales Order Number, Claim Number, Matter/Case Number, etc.
When we verify that your environment will work well with MF, a MacroView consultant will create and send you one filing rule for testing automatic email filing in your SharePoint tenant. This will also involve moving to a licensed evaluation.
Environment
Step 1
Download and install MacroView DMS or DMS Pro.
Step 2.
Provide a screenshot of a SharePoint location where emails are to be saved automatically. This could be a library, document set, folder, or subfolder.
Step 3
Provide the URL link to the container you want emails automatically saved to by right-click on the container name, choose Copy as Link:
